OK Everyone! Show a little mercy! This is my first skin ever of any type and it's a little
Rough around the edges, but I figured with some time to practice, I should be able to come up with some decent and fairly cool skins. This ones name is "Champ". There's only one face and one color scheme. I thought about naming him "Payton", as in, "Payton Manning" of the Indianapolis Colts, but I didn't want to disgrace the fellow.
As far a graphic editing programs are concerned, I Utilized Jasc "Paint Shop Pro" version 6.01 and Painter 3D in which I'm very fortunate to have picked up for a song through Ebay Auctions.
I Used PSPv6.01 for mousing in the textures freehand except for the straight lines. I Used the 3D Model that Shane Caudle has for download and painter 3D to view the textures in place. Still came up with a few minor misalignments and could have paid a little more attention to detail.
One more thing! The step by step instructions from Shane Caudle helped me out tremendously in getting this skin applied to the game.
Thank You Shane!
Pain Supplier sparked my creative imagination through his web site, which is linked from www.unreality.dk.
He has a large Archive of Unreal and UT skins available for download and are updated weekly with the latest and best skins on the web. If it weren't for his site, I wouldn't have known reskinning was possible for these characters. Great tutorials Pain! Watch out for broken Links! Ha!

Installation of the SoldierSkin_Champ utx / int : unzip the file with WinZip if you have it handy, once opened single click on the file SoldierSkins_Champ.utx and extract it to your C:\ Unreal Tournament\Textures directory. Now extract the Soldierskins_Champ int file to your C:\UnrealTournament\System directory. Get ready to Frag in Champion style.

Everyone knows they are going to be the Champs!

I'm always open for helpful suggestions in skinning so if you can provide me with some helpful tips, feel free to e-mail me "Fred (Chuck) Yeager a.k.a. (Slydermax) at topshelf99@hotmail.com.
